Being a wedding photographer in the Niagara region, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work at many great locations. Weddings to begin with are an elegant occasion, and add to that the scenery we have here in Niagara and you have a perfect combination.
From the rolling hills at the local golf courses to the wineries and vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake, there is so much opportunity for creativity when planning a wedding here in Niagara.
Niagara-on-the-Lake is by far one of my favourite corners of Niagara for a wedding. It makes for a great destination wedding for brides coming from out-of-town all the while being an ideal location for local brides looking for a nice getaway close to home.
The “Vintage Hotels” in Niagara-on-the-Lake are by far some of my favourite venues in the Niagara region, and they always put on a classic event with the utmost attention to detail. The “Vintage Hotels” consist of three distinct options for brides, grooms and their guests, Queen’s Landing, Pillar and Post and Prince of Whales. Details, from the Vintage Hotels website on each are as follows:
- Queen’s Landing: Georgian-style elegance and gracious service in a spectacular Niagara-on-the-Lake waterfront setting.
- Pillar and Post: A warm and inviting property nestled right in the heart the village, adorned with brick walls and exposed post-and-beam construction.
- Prince of Whales: Victorian elegance filled with 21st century comforts accentuated with gold trim, fine details, and beautiful inlaid wood floors.
I am proud to be a “trusted professional” by the Vintage Hotels, which means that they personally refer me and my services to their brides and grooms. It is an honour for me to be among the top talent in the Niagara Region on this list. Not only are some of my good friends and (incredibly talented photographers) also on this list, but we are in good company with the best of the best in other industries, too.
I am referred alongside and get to work with the top wedding professionals in the Niagara Region, many of which I can call my friends, such as:
- Allure Hair and Make-Up
- MyBouquet Floral
- Spirit of Sound
- Simply Beautiful Decor
- Mobile Bridal Beauty

- Liquid Entertainment

This Sunday, March 2nd is the annual “Vintage Hotels Wedding Show”, where all of us will be set-up to showcase and “talk shop” with Vintage Hotels couples and potential couples. If you are engaged and/or planning a wedding, you should definitely consider Vintage Hotels, and at the very least come this Sunday from 12:00pm – 5:00pm to check out the amazing talent that we have here in Niagara.
In the meantime, I wanted to share the following images from the past year or two from weddings that I have photographed at Vintage Hotels. And because I believe that wedding photography is about people, relationships and the moments that they share together, I also sprinkled a bit of love and laughter in between the beautiful details. Enjoy!
