I’m Bryan and I am a loving husband and a proud father. In 2010, Allison and I tied the knot on a beautiful July afternoon, and in March of 2013, we welcomed our baby girl Ava into the world. Life has never been better.

What does me and my family have to do with my photography? Well I think it has everything to do with it! As you read on the previous page about my style, my approach to photography is closely connected to my personal beliefs. I believe in capturing genuine moments and real relationships because when I look back at the photographs of my family, that is what I am drawn to the most. When I can feel the same warmth in an image with my family that mirrors the warmth I feel when I am with them, it brings me great joy.

“Bryan captured my daughter’s personality in every photo!”

Professionally speaking, let me share a bit about my business, my career as a photographer and my set up for a professional studio. In 2010 we built a separate 1500 square foot addition on to our home for the studio – office space, meeting space and professional working space. We are located conveniently on Highway 20, passing through Fonthill, right in the heart of the Niagara Region.

I fully commit myself to continuing education, honing my artistic skills and keeping up-to-date in the industry. I am currently the chair for the Hamilton/Niagara Branch of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). I teach photography, too, and have inspired hundreds of photographers through courses and workshops. They say that the teacher often learns more than the students, and so I have been able to highly refine my skills as a photographer through the process of teaching and mentoring.

I am an accredited photographer with the PPOC in over 10 categories, including children portraiture, environmental portraiture and couple’s portrait. My images have received accolades in national and international image competitions and I am honoured to have been recognized with several local awards, including the RBC Small Business Award by the Welland/Pelham Chamber of Commerce, a 40 Under 40 Award by the Business Link and the CIPBA Award for the Arts.

I was named one of the Top 25 Most Inspiring Wedding Photographers by Wedding Bells Magazine in 2012, and in the same year, I was awarded my Craftsman of Photographic Arts by the PPOC, making me one of the youngest in the country to ever receive this designation.
