Cameras are getting smaller every year, and the latest in technology has made possible a new kind of professional camera, called a mirrorless camera. These cameras are small, light, portable and pack a big punch! They’re inspiring photographers around the world to photograph differently and many believe that they’re the future of photography.

They’re the “digital camera” to the “film camera” of 15 years ago. This is an exciting time!

I have spoken on the topic of “mirrorless photography” on behalf of Professional Photographers of Canada, Fuji, Vistek and Henry’s. I am now in the process of writing and publishing a book with Amherst Media that will be the first book on the market on the topic of “Mirrorless Photography” for professional photographers, and I am excited that you are interested in collaborating with me on it!

I’m looking to set up portrait sessions to create images for the book that illustrate the various concepts discussed. These sessions will be very purpose-driven, as I’ll be going after a very specific kind of image depending on the type of session we’re scheduling.

I’m interested in any and every kind of session – families, children, individuals of all shapes, sizes and ages, boudoir, couples, and so on. I’m also looking to use a wide variety of locations and shoot in varying times of the day.

In exchange for your time in “modelling” for a session, I will waive my typical $175 session fee, and you’ll also receive a limited-edition 8×10 mounted fine-art print from the session. I’ll also send you 3 digital images from the session via email.

You’ll also need to sign a release giving me permission to use the images for the book.

Here is a quick example of some images I created using my mirrorless camera recently, just to give you an idea:

If you’re interested in applying for a session, please fill out the form below and tell me more about what you had in mind. I’ll be accepting applications for only a limited time, and will be looking to set up the session to take place within the next 4 weeks.
