I’m Bryan and I am a loving husband and a proud father. In 2010, Allison and I were in your shoes when we tied the knot on a beautiful July afternoon. This past year, in March of 2013, we welcomed our baby girl Ava into the world. Life has never been better.
What does me and my family have to do with my photography? Well I think it has everything to do with it! As you read on the previous page about my style, my approach to wedding photography is closely connected to my personal beliefs. I believe in capturing genuine moments and real relationships because when I look back at the photographs from my own wedding and of my family, that is what I am drawn to the most. When I can feel the same warmth in an image with my family that mirrors the warmth I feel when I am with them, it brings me great joy.
Professionally speaking, let me share a bit about my business, my career as a photographer and my set up for a professional studio. In 2010 we built a separate 1500 square foot addition on to our home for the studio – office space, meeting space and professional working space. We are located conveniently on Highway 20, passing through Fonthill, right in the heart of the Niagara Region.
I fully commit myself to continuing education, honing my artistic skills and keeping up-to-date in the industry. I am currently the chair for the Hamilton/Niagara Branch of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). I teach photography, too, and have inspired hundreds of photographers through courses and workshops. They say that the teacher often learns more than the students, and so I have been able to highly refine my skills as a photographer through the process of teaching and mentoring.
I am an accredited photographer with the PPOC in over 10 categories, including environmental wedding photography, couple’s portraits and photojournalistic wedding. My images have received accolades in national and international image competitions and I am honoured to have been recognized with several local awards, including the RBC Small Business Award by the Welland/Pelham Chamber of Commerce, a 40 Under 40 Award by the Business Link and the CIPBA Award for the Arts.
I was named one of the Top 25 Most Inspiring Wedding Photographers by Wedding Bells Magazine in 2012, and in the same year, I was awarded my Craftsman of Photographic Arts by the PPOC, making me one of the youngest in the country to ever receive this designation.
I am grateful to be able to regularly share my story, my passion and my knowledge with thousands of people through articles, interviews and media coverage. I have been called the “Photography Expert” by CHCH Breakfast Television and Rogers Daytime TV and have been asked for input on various wedding and photography related topics with several radio stations, including 610 CKTB and 105.1 ED FM. Here are a few of my media appearances that you may find interesting.
I feel blessed to have worked with many amazing brides and grooms who are incredibly appreciative of the imagery that I create for them. Here are a few of the kind things that they have shared with me, in hopes that they’d inspire you in your search for a wedding photographer.
Amanda and Peter – Married September, 2013
“Bryan Caporicci was absolutely the right choice as a photographer for our wedding. From our very first meeting, Bryan made us feel comfortable with his friendly personality and by patiently answering all of our questions.
Bryan is organized, efficient, creative and passionate about his craft – a very difficult combination to find!
Throughout the wedding process, he was able to advise us in his professional opinion what he thought would be best, while taking into account the vision we had for our wedding. Our families, friends and bridal party were completely impressed with him. He made everyone feel at ease with his calm nature and organization during family photos. He was a class act at our wedding.
He blended in like he was one of the guests, and we didn’t even notice him taking most of the candid shots! We can’t stop looking at our pictures.
The pictures he took truly capture everything we want to remember about that day, and we’re able to relive those memories and feelings when we look at his pictures. We can’t thank him enough for his professionalism and talent. We would recommend Bryan to all of our closest friends.”

Amy and Rich – Married September 5, 2010
“Bryan made it really easy and relaxed, with no pressure. That’s exactly what I was looking for in a photographer and that’s what I needed on my wedding day. I wanted to get the shots, but have fun while doing it. Bryan went above and beyond and Richard and I both appreciated it so much! He made not only the day a smooth ride, but every step there after!”
Ashley and Aaron – Married August, 2013
“Aaron and I want to thank you for capturing all of the moments – big and small – on our wedding day. The pictures are absolutely stunning, and truly show all of the real emotions we had that day.
You are a true artist and our entire bridal party couldn’t believe how efficient you were as well! You made the photo taking fun and not daunting, so thank you!
We have loved working with you and hope to do so again in the future.”

Carline and Brennan
“We had a great time at our engagement session. We were laughing the whole time. All of our pictures are fabulous, very candid. After meeting with Bryan and going through the shoot, so far it was one of the best parts about being engaged.
The pictures are great, we love that book and we are getting bigger prints since we love them so much. We are so impressed with the quality of the book, and the photos.”
Michelle and Matt – Married August 13, 2010
“I can not find the words to describe the beauty I see in your work. You truly love what you do, and it is reflected in each photograph you take. You capture the trueness in your subjects and can make even a field of weeds seem beautiful. Bryan, your eye is like none other I have seen before and I appreciate it.
You don’t just take pictures, you give permanence to moments through your eyes.
Michael and I are eternally grateful for capturing our children’s wedding day, and can say that we were relieved in knowing Michelle and Matthew were in your very capable hands.”
– Mike and MaryAnn (Mother and Father of the Bride)
Ada and Chris – Married October 10, 2010
“Bryan was able to make it to every event that day, and he captured it all brilliantly. He was accommodating to all of the different timelines for the wedding day. The style of his photos are so relaxing and serene. Photography is one of the most important parts of the wedding day as they are all you have to remember it by.”
Nick and Elizabeth – Married October 27, 2012
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing every special moment and memory of our wedding day.
From our very first meeting with you Bryan it felt like we had been friends for years. You made us feel like your most important clients and you were always there to answer any questions through the planning process.
We have shared some great memories together from taking engagement photos in NYC to the torrential downpour on our wedding day. Everything came together just perfectly and we have the most beautiful photos to capture the moments we remember and those that slipped by so quickly.
We are truly blessed to have met you and value the friendship that has become.
We wish you continued success … we’ll definitely work together again!”
