Real moments

Real moments, raw emotion, unbridled joy. The real story of not only what happened on your wedding day, but the way you felt.

No two weddings are the same. I know, I know, it sounds cliché. But hear me out. Sure, I photograph at the same venues all the time. But that's not what makes up your wedding. The most important parts (and what I focus on) are moments and people. And those are always different, so every wedding is unique!

After 17 years, I can say, confidently, that there's no formula for wedding photography. There is only gut reaction, technical mastery, creative instincts, complete confidence and knowing how to seek the decisive moment.

Moments

Documentary photography means you get to look back at your images and see what actually happened with very little intervention or participation by the storyteller (me) - other than perhaps portrait time. Real moments, raw emotion, unbridled joy. The real story of what happened on your wedding day and how you felt.

Here are some moments from the last 17 years to better visualize my moments-based approach to documentary wedding photography.
